GAELTEC is an Irish company specialising in the design and installation of electricity and telecommunications infrastructures. Founded in 2003, our company is a subsidiary of TEGAEL (Telecomunicações Gás e Electricidade S.A.) from Portugal. Tegael has been involved in the development of major infrastructure projects throughout Europe and Africa over the last twenty years and has a turnover of €45 million. Tegael has completed projects in countries such as Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Cape Verde and Angola.

Drawing on this vast experience, the GAELTEC team comes equipped with a wide range of skills, intuitive know-how and a dedication to quality customer service. Our specialist expertise has been in the design and installation of transmission and distribution LV/MV/HV networks (overhead and underground) as well as substations, transmission and distribution facilities.

With the advent of mobile GSM telecommunication networks, the company has also become skilled in the planning and installation of telecommunication infrastructures (fixed and wireless).

Our commitment to continuous innovation has also seen us win contracts to meet the requirements for industries in the renewable energy sector, including wind farms, biomass and hydro projects. This flexibility – coupled with our on-going investment in experienced personnel and highly efficient equipment, – means that GAELTEC is strongly placed to consolidate its presence in Europe.
